November 11. 1984.
Just when his life seemed brightest.
,lusi when his hopes seemed best.
God took tlirn from among. us,
To his eteii''naI rest.
I remember the day 1 met him.
And the day God made him mine.
1 remember the day God took him.
And l will till the end of time.
After all the sorrow and heartaches,
There is one thing that makes me glad.
Ile chose me to share with him
The happy years we had.
We made our vows together,
'('ill Death Do Us Part,
But the day God took him from Inc,
My -whole world fell apart.
I think of him with love today.
As I have often done.
1 feel again the hitter blow,
That never should have come,
Sometimes I think I'm dreaming,
For I cant believe it's true.
That 1 can go on living
When no longer 1 have you. 46'
