What a dreary weekend! I guess
can can be thankful that the rain
hasn't been coming down as snow.
Monday evening movies shown were
"Horse Drawn Magic, and "Busy
Bodies (Oliver and Hardy) which
were very much enjoyed.
Mrs. Valeda Corriveau still a pa-
tient in Clinton General Hospital.
The sympathy of residents and staff
is extended to the family of the late
Mrs. Maureen Webb.
The craft room is very busy turn-
ing out articles for the Christmas
trade. We also wish to remind you of
the bazaar, tea, bake sale and penny
sale, to be held .this Saturday,
November 9 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in
the home, Any items for the penny
sale or bake table would indeed by ap-
preciated by the Auxiliary ladies. All
proceeds, of course, make their way
back for the needs of the residents.
We welcome Mrs. Losetta Fahrner,
a former resident of the Blue Water
Rest Home apartments. Mrs. Hilda
Shapton has returned to the home
from South Huron Hosptial.
The residents enjoyed the children
who came in for Trick or Treat on
Hallowe'en night. They get a little
chuckle out of the various costumes.
Bingo was played on Thursday
evening followed by refreshments.
The Bean Sprout Nursery School
children visited on Friday morning,
some wearing their Hallowe'en
costumes. They talked to the
residents and presented their little
program. The residents just loved the
children and I am sure these visists
do something for both resident and
child. We thank Debbie and her
helpers for taking the time and effort
to bring them to the Home.
Some of our residents enjoyed a bus
ride on Friday afternoon. They cer-
tainly enjoy the fall scenery.
The Sunday evening chapel gervice
was conducted by Rev. M. Mellecke
of the Dashwood Lutheran Church.
