Optimists sponsor free dance for teens
Dear Sir,
Please allow me to take this oppor-
tunity to inform you that the Exeter
town council has declaredlhe second
'week of November as Youth Ap-
preciation Week.
The Exeter District Optimists, as
sponsors of this program are plann-
ing a kick off Teen Dance at the South
Huron Recreation Centre on Friday,
November 8, 1985 at 8 to 12 p.m. The
OPTI-ROCK is free to all teens. The
music will be by local teen groups as
a vehicle to perform for an audience
especially 'Music in 3D'.
Our second function is a scavenger
hunt concluding at the SHRC Agri -
Building Friday, November 15, 1985
at 7 p.m. Teams of 4-10 people will be
judged on their success in the hunt.
Prizes per team will be offered as
follows:

The Hallowe'eners were out in full
force Thursday evening, going home
with bags of goodies.
The sermon topic at Zion United
Church was taken from Genesis 6: 1-8
and Romans 1:18-25 titled "The Man
Who Was a Loner" ( Noah):
The regular U.C.W. meeting will be
held Thursday at 8 p.m. in the church
Sunday school rooms.
Mrs. Stan Preszcator attended a
birthday party for her aunt Mrs. An -
`tile Haegy, Seaforth. Mrs. Haegy was
85 years young and later she visited
with Mrs. Ed Rezele and Norman
Hubley, Seaforth.
Mrs. James Barnes and Jenna,
Parkhill spent a few days with Mr.
and Mrs. Stan Preszcator and Jim
was a supper guest Wednesday
evening.
Mrs. John Arbo and Belinda, Elim-
ville visited Wednesday and Friday
with Mrs. Stan Preszcator.
Mrs. Gordon Morlock celebrated a
birthday November 1.
Sorry tor the error last week which
said Mrs. Walter Weber attended a
course with Dr. Jean Toronto, it
should have said Sheltie Weber, sorry.
