Panthers get victory
in HP football play
The South Huron Panthers scored
an impressive senior Huron -Perth
football win over Listowel by a score
of 35-2 Wednesday and assured a se-
cond place finish in the final
standings.
The Panthers are actually tied with
the Goderich Vikings for first place
with identical records. The only loss
for each team was against_the other.
A flip of the coin gave first place to
Goderich and home field advantage
if the two teams meet in the con-
ference final.
In semi-final play Thursday of this
week, Goderich will meet Stratford
Northwestern and the South Huron
Panthers will be at home to meet
Listowel in a repeat of last week's
contest.
Against Listowel, Wednesday, the
offensive and defensive lines for the
Panthers controlled the game and
got the team back on the winning
track after a week earlier loss to
Goderich.
- poach- Ron Bogart said -after -the
game, "We needed this to get our con-
fidence back."
The Panthers completely
dominated the Lords from Listowel.

on a reverse anda three yard crack
at the line by Sean O'Rourke. Steve

Bogart tossed back to quarterback
Scott Miller good for 40 years and a
touchdown and only minutes later,
-Millet` hitBog IPrwith a short 10 yard
