1 meeting held at the home of Patty
Sinnamon with co -hostess Gail Rolph.
Following the business meeting con-
ducted by president Lynda Freiter,
the meeting was turned over to
Marlys Maver and Joan Morgan. Deb
Heslinga gave a very interesting talk
about education for gifted students as
it is applied in the Huron County
public system.
October 15 the regular tneeting was
held at the home of Joan Morgan with
Nancy .Charrette as co -hostess. •
Sharon Davis and Sandra Rowe had
invited Mrs. Barb Whiting to speak on
"Window treatments for function and
beauty". Mrs. Whiting brought
impleni nts.
A "four square garden" created in-
side the gallery was a symbolic struc-
ture of the daily life of Mennonite
households. Following the tour they
returntd to Elsie Tuckey's who was
assisted by Brenda Hennessey for
lunchand the business meeting con-
ducted by President Donna Jones.
Ocbber 22 members met -at- the
home of Leona Amos and a short
busitess meeting was held. Elsie Wit-
teveen who was assisting the hostess
introduced the guest speaker, Jamie
WeAman. Jamie told of his ex-
pert nces in his travels as a member
of tle American Boys Choir and as a
soloist and presented a tape of his solo
wih a; German symphonic orchestra
and a piece from his album, Danny
Boy, which everyone enjoyed.
A delicious lunch was served by the
hostess and Elsie.
