At Granton United Church the Rev.
Bruce Pierce was in charge of the
morning worship and entitled his
message "The' God we serve loves
us." "It was God that got you through
the many difficulties in your life" said
Rev. Pierce. "How would you plant
your crops it you didn't know there
would be rain? Isaiah does.not preach
that sin might be punishedbut that sin
must be punished. Ignore God's prin-
ciples and you will pay a terrible
price."
At St. Thomas Anglican church the
Rev. Peter Derrick was in charge of
.the morning prayer service assisted
by John Jones as the crucifer and Lois
Herbert as pianist. The two lessons
were read by Jim Hodgins and Helen
Herbert.
In the childrens focus the rector ex-
plained what a maze was and what it
meant to them and how it affected
their lives. Rev. Derrick also in his
