Hamilton, will present a summary of planning strategies as used across the Pro- vince of Ontario to coordinate health services delivery. Also in attendance will be Jim Bain, Ministry of Health • Coordinator for Southwestern Ontario District Health Councils. The Community Services Council intends to use the forum as a means of determining whether the Minister of Health, Murray Elston, MPP, Huron -Bruce will be asked to appoint a steering committee to formally undertake a study of health planning needs in Huron County. A similar committee, which reported in 1975, re- jected the concept of a District Health Council by a narrow 8-7 vote. It is hoped that a broad representa- tion from health agencies and the general public will participate in the October 23 meeting.
