from then the plans fell into place,
and finally the big night arrived.
The good-sized crowd assembled.
More chairs were brought forth.
On the Ailsa Craig town hall stage

Following this, Charlene McNair
delighted the audience with a tap
dance number.
Touching the hearts of the crowd
were these young ladies "The Joy
Belles" (Janine and Julie DeVree and
Julie Barron of London) who clad in
pretty costumes, sang sweetly.
Adding more to the musical pro-
gram were the "Afternoon Delight"
(a group of Sweet Adelines directed
by Julie Beadle) who share their
talents with seniors and Parkwood
Home, London, provided entertain-
ment for all.
During the intermission, many pur-
chased ticket's on the queen size
"Windmill Quilt".
Mrs. Evelyn McNaughton ably
chaired the program and on behalf of
the Activity Centre thanked 'the -
stars' for sharing their musical
talents with everyone.
The singing of the Queen closed the
program. This musical program was
one of the numerous services provid-
ed for seniors by the Activity Centre.
Tuesday afternoon, Mrs. Evelyn
McNaughton, convener of Agriculture

dstream Coverlets", the home of Mr.
and Mrs. Walter McIntyr,. Here Mr.
McIntyre. ' has made several
homemade weaving looms where he
weaves plain or coloured coverlets
which have been sold far and wide.
From here we travelled to Marsh's
General Store, at Coldstream where
tea and tasty muffins were served a
cosy tearoom, on behalf of the hostess
group and Mrs. Elliott McKichan's
committee.
Following this, Institute president,
Mrs. Lorna Priestley opened the,
regular meeting with the Institute and
repeating the Mary Stewart Collect.
Eighteen members answered the
roll call with replies such as food,
families, friends, health, beauty of the
