According to verse 12 Christians are engaged in a very real supernatural conflict. The devil will take any incident to agitate it to make the church go off course. Genesis 3:15 says Jesus crush- ed the devil's head, defeating the devil. Ephesians 1:22 says Jesus has all things put under His feet, and is head over all things to the church. Sunday evening Rev. Roger Mason spoke from 11 Corinthians 10:3-5, about breaking down strongholds. As Christians are in a spiritual warfare, they need to use their weapons of defence, the truth of God's word. Jesus used the Word against the enemy. Spiritual warfare is not won by carnal methods of education, elo- t4uent speaking, or strong personali- ty. The word of God preached in truth, and read by Christians become powerful spiritual weapons. Stronghold in people's minds that need to be broken down can be opposi- tion to God's word, unbelief, and wrong teaching. When God's word is planted in people's minds, it can break down these strongholds. Everything opposed to God can become a stronghold that needs to be broken down by God's word, which is very powerful. God will deal ,with each wrong idea through His word. Even Christians can have strongholds of wrong ideas that God is dealing with to clear up. Upcoming events - 30th year An- niversary Services.
