Hurondale
girls elect
by Michelle Ellison
"Someone's in the Kitchen" is their
name and "basic baking" is their
game. Ilurondale IV did get some
baking underway at the September 18
meeting. The girls split up into two
groups to make some tea biscuits and
to do an experiment on the affects of
baking soda and water.
Members also created a couple of
variations on the tea biscuit such as
cheese biscuits and cinnamon pin-
wheels. Everyone in each group
worked together to make a
"gastronomical delight" for us all.
The biscuits were judged by all the
future bakers afterwards including a
taste test of course! In a matter of
speaking, I agreeit was well done for
our first attempt at baking from
scratch.
