Parkhill downed Crediton by a score of 9-4 but Crediton bounced back with a winning score of 2-0 in their second -game.. The Crediton squad played last night for the deciding game. if they - won they meet Denfeld in the A finals and if they lost they meet Strathroy in the B finals. They will probably play one of these games at their home diamond Monday night. . • In the first game against Parkhill, the Cowgirls allowed seven runs in the first three innings and could never catch up to the large gap. - Leading Crediton at the plate was Brenda Iredale with three doubles. Brenda' Wilds pounded out a triple and a single and double single hits were notched by Marilyn Smithers and Kelly Phillips. Helping the cause with single hits were Fay Schenk. Tammy -Regier, Cecile Muller and Karen Bowerman. Brenda Wilds was Crediton's start- ing pitcher with relief from Brenda Iredale. In their game Monday night. the Crediton Cowgirls played an excellent torr_, of baseball. the fiest defensive game they have played all year.
