RUST)
CHECK
god* with w end wolf cheek pour rust
Rust Check is like no other rust
treatment available today. It is the
only system that works on both
new and used vehicles, even
where rust is obvious.
Today's new lighter unitized car
bodies need Rust Check protection
because rust, besides speeding
depreciation will actually weaken
the car structure. Older vehicles
will last longer and maintain a
higher trade-in value because Rust
Check checks the spread of
existing rust.
Rust Check's incredible "claim
Tree" warranty record makes it
possible to otter an insured
warranty for new cars that is
unparallel in the industry.

Exeter teams did very well in the
Sportsfest soccer tournament on the
weekend. Exeter teams reached five
of the possible six finals and came
away with the A championship in the
squirt division and the 13 champion-
ship in the atom division.
In the squirt division Exeter II was
eliminated after losing their two
games. Exeter I did better as Kevin
Coolman scored the deciding goal in
a shootout between Exeter 1 and
Mount Forest.
Exeter had to bow out in the next
round after losing to Grand Bend by
a respectable 2-0 score. Well done all
and the gang from Bayfield
boatyards.
Exeter 111 defeated Listowel in
their first game on goals by Marty
DeBruyn and Brian McAllister for a
2-1 score. In their second game Ex-
eter then tied a tough-Goderich team
0-0 in regulation time and it took ex-
cellent penalty shots by Julia Brand
and Marty DeBruyn to put Exeter in
the A final against Grand Bend.
Marty DeBruyn scored in the first
half on a solo effort to give Exeter III
a 1-0 lead but Grand Bend,'kept on.
fighting back and threatening to tie
the score on different occasions but a
second half goal by Julia Brand put
the game away for Exeter III. Final
score 2-0. Congratulations Andrew
and Tim and the gang.
In atom division play Exeter I was
eliminated after losing both their
games with a :3-1 score. Exeter Ii lost
their first game and continued play in
the B group. After winning their next
game Exeter II carne up against Mt.
Forest in the B. final. '
The Exeter squad played excellent
soccer and took the B championship
with a 1-0 win. Joel Smith scored the
lone goal when he broke in from the
right side and put a shot inside.the
post under the sprawling goalie. An
excellent effort for Exeter Il.
Congratulations.
Exeter III won their first game in
atom play 7-0 over a Brampton team.
Sivichay Sengkhoumnany with five
goals, Dan Martins and David
Morlock hooked after the scoring for
Exeter. Shawn Webster registered
the shut out.
In their next game in the A group
Exeter III built up a 4-0 lead and then
had to hang on when Listowel scored
two goals in the -late stage of the
game. The 4-2 win put Exeter III in
the A final against a team from
Hanover. The four goals were scored
by Sivichay Sengkhounmany with two
and Dan Martins and Jamie Dougall
one each. In the final the Hanover.
team proved to be loo much for Ex-
eter and the boys and girls had to be
satisfied with the runner up spot.
Final score 5-0 for Ilanover. Well done
Exeter I1I and coaches Ray Lewis
and Marie DeBruyn.
In mosquito play Exeter I lost its
first two games and was eliminated
from further play. Exeter iI lost its
first game 5-0 (o Ifanover. in their se-
cond game the Exeter II team came
up against Exeter i and as so many
times this season staged a real battle
with a 0-0 score as outcome.
S.Y. Maurer proved to be thcr"dif-
ference playing goal for Exeter 11 in
the shoot out.
Exeter 11 went on to the 13 final
against a strong leans from Durham.
Mike Cregan and his squad gave it all
they had but it was not enough as
Durham beat them 2-0 for the B
championship.
Exeter III had an excellent day. 10
their opening game a perfectly taken
20 yard free kick by Sivilay
Sengkhounmany and excellent goal
tending by Ryan Henn proved to be
enough to beat Durham 1-0 and a spot
in the A group.
In their next game Exeter 111 met
arch rival Grand Bend. The two
teams played what must be one of the
best mosquito games ever seen in this
area. Lots of excellent plays and good
chances. Goalie Ryan Hern and
defenders Peter McAllister and Mark
Lynn played outstanding as did the
rest of the team.
A first half goal on a shot from a dif-
ficult angle by Jason !fern won the
game for Exeter III.
In the A final that followed the Ex-
eter team was mentally and physical-
ly drained and just could not put it
together against a strong Goderich
