Dear Editor:
Thought 1 should drop you a line to
let you and yours know that not one,
but TWO of your recent stories are to -
be used in Report from the Country.
Scheduled for airing with the late
Saturday night news on August :31 is
your story and picture centred on
John and Peta Vanderhorst's 25th
wedding anniversary.
Thought it a pleasant little story,
that John and Peta had so many
friends that about forty a day, for a
week, picked up the invitation to. as
Ben Bernie used to say many years
ago: "Drop in fora call, or call in for
a drop."
Then, tvith the late news on Satur-
day, September 7th, it is expected to
use the picture and story of the two
lads, Greg Bauer and Gordon
Hamilton. Greg released a balloon
from his Euclid. Ohio home, and Gor-
don found it while picking stones at
his Hensall arra farm home. Then the
Bauer family toured Ogtario, and
made a trip to Hensall so that the lads
could meet.
Thanks a lot for this assistance, and
thanks, loo. for keeping the Times -
Advocate in my mail box each and
every week.
Sincerely yours.
