The two'people hired would work

next March.
Exeter has applied for two people
to conduct the program.
"It makes sense to take advantage
of it (provincial funding)", Mayor
Bruce Shaw commented at Monday's
,council session.
In their written' report to council,
the committee also advised they have
asked the Huron County Communica-
tion System committee to provide a
copy of their 1985,budget and also that
Exeter receive annually a detailed
budget to reflect the expenditures and
revenues for the system which is
operated for the five county towns.
Costs for the system have been
escalating annually and previous
discussions have indicated local Coun-

budgets.
The committee have also called
tenders for a new police cruiser and

out-of-town tennis players would be
using the facility.
Board c;tairman John Pym ex-
pressed appreciation tor the improve-

Kathy Whiteford told the tenni

Board member Jim Workman said
that the tennis players would have to
pay for the work, either directly or in--
directly
n-directly through higher rental rates.
Board members were advised that
a total re -surfacing would have to be
undertaken within two years and that
cost was estimated at $4,000.
Mel Gaiser, who was in attendance
on an insurance matter, spoke up to
advise the tennis club members to ap-
