MR. AND MRS. KIM McLEAN
Kim McLean and Angela Sweitzer
were joined in marriage at Ex-
eter United Church on Saturday,
July 6,.1985. Given in marriage
by her son, Darryl, Angela was
attended by her sister, Jewel Kel-
ly, of Sudbury. John McLean, of
Chatham, was best man for his
brother. The McLean's would like
to express their most sincere
gratitude to everyone who
helped with, and attended their
recent Open House. Their doors
at 82 John Street East will always
be open.

Peter Jeffrey were united in mar-
riage and love July 20 at Si.
Bonifoce Church, Zurich. Rev. P.
Mooney officiated, assisted by
Rev. R. Morrissey of Grand Bend.
The bride is the only daughter of
Tony and Marlene Bedard of
Zurich and Peter and Evelyn Jef-
frey of St. Joseph are parents of
the groom. The matron of honour
was Wendy Masse, long time
friend of the bride and the best
man was Wayne Jeffrey, brother
of the groom. The bridesmaids
were Debbie Jeffrey, sister of the
groom; Julie Miller, friend of the
bride, and junior bridesmaids
were Terry Lynn and Richelle
Elder, cousins of the bride.
Guests were ushered by Mork
Doyle, friend of the groom and
Michael Bedard, brother of the
bride. Junior groomsman was
Scott Bedard, brother of the
bride. Organist was Patsy
Meidinger. Singing during the
service were Jackie Clausius,
Nancy Becker and Beth Sweeney.
A dinner and open reception
followed at the Exeter Rec Cen-
tre. Guests were present from
Kitchener, Goderich, Windsor,
Grand Bend, Hamilton, London,
Exeter, Hensall and Zurich. The
happy couple are residing in
Zurich. Lori and Kevin would like
to thank everyone for making our
day a very special one!
MR. AND MRS. MICHAEL DUCHARME
Vicki Schroeder and Michael
Ducharme exchanged marriage
vows on August 3, 1985 at St.
Peter's Roman Catholic Church in
Zurich with Father Bensette of-
ficiating. The bride is the
daughter of Ron and Sharen
Schroeder, Zurich and Matthew
and Martha Ducharme, also of
?urich are parents of the groom.
The maid of honour was KeIIi
Schroeder and bridesmaids were
Judy Van Aaken, Kathy Love and
Linda Zwaan, The best man was
Brian Regier and guests were
ushered by Charlie Ducharme,
Peter Ducharme Jr. and Gerard
_Ducharme. Shawn Ducharme
was ringbearer and the
flowergirl was Sarah Van Aaken.
Music was provided by Mozart
Gelinas and Gerard Charrette.
The couple has token up
residence in Hensall.

Father P. Mooney on June 8 at St.
Boniface Church, Zurich. The
bride is the daughter of Jim and
Veronica Bedard, Zurich and the
groom's parents are Wayne and
Judy Clausius, Zurich. The maid
of honour was Vicki Bedard and
bridesmaids were Beth Gelinas,
Deb Overholt, Patti Bedard and
Wendy Masse. Flowergirls were
Tabitha Overholt, Natalie
Overholt and Stacey Moore. The
best man was Mike Masse and
ushers were Greg O'Brien, Rick
Bedard, Bob Hay and Marc
Clausius. The singers for the
wedding were Mozart Gelinas Jr.
and Beth Sweeney. The couple is
residing in Exeter.

The bride is the daughter of Mr.

Stamps aid
world's poor
Beginning last January, staff open-
ing mail in the Wingham District of-
fice began tearing off the cancelled
postage stamps and saving them.
Once a sizeable numixv were acc•um-
mulaled• they were sent to Oxfam -
Canada .
Oxfam -Canada sells 130 gram bags
of on -paper mixtures of Canadian,
Brit ish.Ansi raIian and «orld stamps
for $5 01410 woo. depending on (he
package. -
Offices. church groups. clubs and
classrooms have organized to save
stamps from incoming snail. The
stamps are forwarded to (111awa for
sorting by 20 volunteers. In 1983-84.
$6000.00 was raised through (his pro-
gram. only in its third year. The
money raised this year from (he pro-
gram will help the poor of (he (hird
world.
