IN MEMORIAM —
LEWIS — In loving memory of a dear hus-
band, father and grandfather, Wilbert.
who passed away August 10, 1982.
We had a Dad and husband we were proud
to own.
How we miss him will never be known.
The heartaches in this world are many,
But the loss of him was the greatest of any.
Dad if we could make a wish tonight
And know it would come true. •
We wish that we could call Heaven
And ask to speak to you.
Lord put your arms around him
Keep him in your care
Make up for all -he suffered
Until we meet him there.
Lovingly remembered and sadly missed
by wife Nola. daughter Carolyn, son-in-law
Mike, grandchildren Melissa and
Matthew. 32*
NEIL — In loving memory of a dear hus-
band, father and grandfather, who passed

But in our hearts you are always there.

Tornado costs
high to hydro
Damage to the electrical system
caused by the May 31 tornado cost On-
tario Hydro an estimated $5 million.
And it took Hydro crews three weeks
to complete permanent repairs.
Fierce winds knocked down 15 high-
voltage towers weighing 10 to 20 ton-
nes. Transmission lines were strung
on temporary wood poles wi*tin a few
days, but new towers were not all in
place until June 20.
The tornado destroyed so many On-
tario Hydro and municipal utility
poles in ttie Barrie, Alliston and
Orangeville -areas that a final count
was impossible. But by June 5, ser-
vice had been restored to all but a
handful of customers.
Hydro's $35 million computerized
Bruce System Protection Plan was
called into service for the first time
during the tornado, to prevent
widespread power blackouts.
