Unrealized Purposes.
Building a temple for God
was a foremost purpose in
David's life. But God did not
plan for David to fulfill . his •
purpose to build the temple.
God ` told David his son
Solomon would build the tem-
ple, because David had been
a man of war. 1 Chronicles
28:1-10 tells of David en
couraging Solomon to build
the temple. When. purposes
are denied in our lives; we
need not to. complain. but
acknowledge God as the
organizer of our lives. This
should bring a strong co -

CWL meets
at. St. Patrick's
Members of St. Patrick's
C.W.L., .met • Wednesday
December 15 in St. Pat's
School library. The project
which was undertaken for the
evening - was to make up
Christittas baskets for all the
shut-ins of our parish.. .
Many thanks were extend-
ed' to all those involved in
helping to make the bazaar a
big success. The profit made
will be distributed by suppor-
ting various Homes and
Services.
The meeting ended with
everyone exchanging best
wishes over the holiday
season.
Ttlere• will be no Sunday
School on December 26 or
January 2 during the
holidays. A big thank you,i
extended to .all the. youh
ladies who so generously gave
time to care _ for the
youngsters every Sunday
morning.
Both the senior and junior
choirs held their regular
practices this week in busy
preparaticn for the Christmas
masses.
