By Nicole Freebairn
Precious Blood, Grade 4 -
Christmas means a time to
share. Christmas is a time to
care, Christmas means Jesus
a babe who was born, it was
in the'night not in the morn.
Christmas means goodies,
toys, love, joy, peace, and
happiness.
Christmas means
mistletoe, candy canes, and
hanging lights. Hanging
stocking, ringing bells, sing-
ing songs so well. Christmas
is a time I love, especially I
love my family.

The. candle is a important
Christmas symbol in Scan-

believed that darkness was
evil and was full of ghosts and
goblins. They used candles to
fight against these spirits.
Today the people have a
celebration for Lucia. At that
time young girls wear a
wreath of candles on their
head and serve their family a
meal in bed.
