- Mrs. Geo. Hindmarsh con-

began with the quotation...''0
conte. all ye faithful". This
does not • mean ye all come
when it's a convenient. or ye
'all come occasionally. or 'ye
all come when ye feel like it.
but it "Ye all conte." period.
The.•poem. "Christmas
Time is Friendship Time"
Gears repeating here:
At Christmas time our hearts
• reach out. •
To friends we think of dearly.
And checking through our
.Friendship lists. •
As all of us do yearly-.
We stopa While to reminisce,
and to pleasantly review.
Happy little happenings,' and
things we used to do...
And though' we've been too
busy .to keep in touch all
year.
We send a Christmas greeting
at this season of Good
. Cheer. •
So Christmas is a 'lovely link'
between old years and new. .
That keeps the "Bond. of
Friendship" forever
unbroken and true." •

followed by a short story en-
titled, "Born to NC, read by
Rev. Maureen
McLeod -Walter.
.The roll call answered by
"If t could change anything
about Christmas, what would
I change", brought out some
interesting ideas.
The worship service was
concluded with "A Christmas
Prayer" which ended thus.
•"Oh.. Forgive us, heavenly
Father. and help us find the
wary 10 understand each
other, and live Christmas
every day."

Sunday evening the
C.G.I.T. group and leader,
Mrs. Neil Trevithick
presented their annual
Vesper; service in the United
Church..
The theme was."ls that all
there is?" which provoked
some thought as to what one
really believes about
Christmas.
It invited those par-
ticipating to think about the
world in which they live and
to think about the Christmas
story in its full context by ask-
ing the question, Is that all
there is'' Is it enough? It was
found that by exploring the
question. .that yes, it is.
enough.
The Explorers took part in
the singing with Mrs. Jack
Trevithick at the piano, and
the ('.G.1.T. group sang the
anthem "Look' out the
Window".
Candles of Hope. Love and -
Faithfulness were lit and the
congregation was 'asked to
bring not only their gifts. of
money but to respond by
pledging a special service.
:1n enjoyable time of
fellowship followed in the Sun-
day school room.
