Sunday night in Lucan the locals rebounded from deficits of two and three goals but then let the tie slip out of their hands as the Irish scored with 23 seconds left to win the game on their home ice. The senior girls were hot, pulling out a fast Lead to make it 24-12 at the half. Some bad calls drew the ire of O'Rourke causing a techinal foul against his team. However, . when it was realized that Stratford Central had been over-estimated play calmed down. Maja Gans scored 13 points.
