he was pursuing a commit-
ment to deregulation and was
cutting down on the number
of forms farmers must fill out
when dealing with provincial
taxes.
Riddell told the legislature
the minister has caused
farmers "a lot of grief and ex-
pense." The dye is plugging
up and ruining fuel injectors
and filters and forcing the
farmers to replace fuel
pumps, adding to already ex-
orbitant costs of home heating
fuel. Riddell demanded the
dye be dropped and that_
restitution be made to
farmers.
Ashe denied there was a
problem. The dye is only 20
