returned to join in the
celebration of the GOth an-
niversary of the present
church, built to replace the
former church destroyed by
fire in 1921.
Rev. Crowe conducted the
service and introduced the
guest speaker Ur Janes
Guest London, son of a former
minister of the church.
Dr. Guest kept his listeners
in rapt attention as he
delivered an inspiring sermon
on "My Christian Certain-

assisted by Mr. Bob Heywood
and Mr. Peter Snell.
The flowers decorating the
church were placed there by
various families and friends
in memory of Miss Agnes
Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Mur-
ray Elliott, Mr. and Mrs.
Alvin Essery; Mr. Bruce
Gaynor, Mr. and Mrs. George
,Hicks, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew
Hicks ' and Mr. and, Mrs.

Mrs. Lorne hicks had the
honour of cutting the beautiful
decorated anniversary cake.
Several letters were read
from former members ex-
