Preliminary List of Elec-
tors for 1982.
School Support List for
'1983 Taxes
The preliminary list of electors prepared as
required by the Municipal Elections Act RSO
1980 will be publicly posted in the office of the
Municipal Clerk on the 12th day of October,
1982. It will also be posted in the auditorium,
of Grand Cove Estates and the three schools
in the Township.
Electors should examine the list to ensure
that their names and relevant information are
correctly shown.
Complaints in the nature of requests for ad-
ditions or corrections to or deletions from the
list may be made by an elector completing and
filing a form obtainable at the office of the
Clerk.
The School Support list is also available for
inspection.
The lost day for filing forms requesting ad-
ditions, corrections or deletions for either list
is .the 20th day of October, 1982.

ladies present. Mrs. Lee Web-

gave tilt. theme, "Thank God
For Life," followed by the
Call to Worship.

theme were given by Mrs.
Lloyd Ballantyne, Mrs. Mary
Johns, and Mrs. Lee Webber.

Thanksgiving Time". was
given by Mrs. Webber. A
reading "A Thankful Heart"
by Mrs. Johns.
Mrs. Elmer Dow. Staffa
played several selections on
the piano which were much
enjoyed. Mrs. Webber gave
two readings "Our Fair" and
"In a Stew". The offering was
received by Mrs. Barry J.
Miller and Miss Jean Coward
and prayer was offered. by
Mrs. Lloyd Ballantyne.

message on Thanksgiving.

The usual business was
dealt with. It was decided to
give $25 to the Hospital Aux-
iliary. It was decided to pay
Mrs. Robert Hulley for
refinishing two fern stands
and a table.
Mrs. Lee Webber spoke
about clothing, games, cann-
ed goods for the needy
families in Huron county. It
was decided each member of
the U.C.W. bring something
to the November meeting.
There is free yarn at the
Municipal offices in Exeter
for knitting mitts, etc. for the

are to bring in the new slate
of officers for 1983 at the
November meeting.
• The meeting was closed by
singing "Savior Breathe an
Evening Blessing" and Mrs.
Duncan gave the closing
prayer.

U under the leadership of
Mrs. Murray Dawson and the
hostess Mrs. Jack Duncan.
The South Huron Regional
Meeting was held in Thames
Road Church with about 120
ladies present.. Mrs: Alma
Godbolt was the president in
charge of the meeting, Rev.
Robt. Matheson pronounced
the Benediction.

how not to show thanks than
how to give thanks.
There ure those who are ex-
ploited anti 4ppressed as the
result of a predominant
culture, an exploitative and
oppressive political regime or
system in this country or op-
pressive economic conditions
so prevalent in our world
today. should not be like Jesus'
disciples in Mark 9: 38-50 who
So jealously guarded the gifts
that were theirs. We need to
be on the guard for the rights
of others so others may be
able to gain the same rights,
privileges and abundance we
have.
Then and only then coula
our world truly be 'thankful.
Then and only then could we
truly say that humanity
would be living up to the con-
ditions that God through
Christ has set out for us.
