South Huron's annual citrus
campaign started for the
Thanksgiving weekend. The
school's goal, is to sell 2000
boxes, of , oranges and
grapefruit. The money raised
will benefit the athletic and
scolal programs.
Student council president
Jamie Chaffe emphasizes
that prices have not been rais-

school will be making a small
profit so will have to sell more
boxes.
The citrus comes in small

Band ability
not impressive
Approximately 250 high
school students paid $3 to
dance to the music of Phoenix
Friday night. The Toronto
based band were fairly hard
rock with little variety as
dancers started to drift off the
floor pear the end.
Students council, who Spon-
{ sored the dance lost money as
they do on most dances. Mike
Fleming, social convener felt
that "we were not totally im-
pressed with the band's abili-
ty to fully entertain the
students."
The school's first dance
featuring Windjammer was a
great success with everybody
up dancing for the full time.
The student's council next
event is the movie, The Rocky
Horror Picture Show Friday
October 22. It will be follow-
ed by a Rocky Horror dressllp
day on Friday, October 29.
