T -A photo Anniversary Mr. and ' Mrs. Hamilton Hodgins celebrated their for- tieth wedding anniversary on Sunday. They were married in 1942 at the home of the bride's parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Hilson Grose, 15th concession of London Township by the late Rev. Milton Cook of the Granton - Wesley charge. Hamilton's parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hodgins. Their attendants were Mrs. Gwen (Hodgins l Grose and the late Charlie Grose. They have lived most of their married life at their present address RR 3 Lucan, Hamilton and Audrey have two children, Berton, at home and Sharon, Mrs. Fred Mardlin, sixteenth concession of London Township and three grandchildren, Louise, Lynn and Lisa Mardlin. They were honored at an "open house" at Whalen Com- munity centre on Sunday, when nearly 200 friends and relatives called to offer con- gratulations. A dainty lunch was provided by. Whalen com- munityladies and served by Louise, Lynn and Lisa Mardlin. Pouring tea were Mrs. Margery Morley, Mrs. Mary Ruston, Mrs. Elsie Dann, Mrs. Florence Rfddell, Mrs. Gwen Grose, Mrs. Phyllis O'Neil. Shown admiring the trophy Friday are his son George Glendinning. host farmer Alan Scott and Middlesex co-chairman Bill Frank. • T -A photo Puppet plays by students This year the high school's booth at the Exeter Fall Fair featured two puppet plays by members of the students' council. • Children were entertained by the Three Bill' Goats GrUff and the Bremen Town . • Musicians. Cast members fashioned their own puppets. Old yearbooks and new photos were also on display. Stuart Hodgins, local com- puter whiz. had programmed two computers for children to play. Pac-man and other games. The students' council also had clowns giving out balloons in the parade and at the fair. Congratulations to all involved in the success of the 1982 Fall Fair.
