Grade 6 Class
Congratulations to Wendy
Coward, Kim Cooke, Becky
Seldon and Sandra Cottle who
wore the purple and gold of
Usborne in the Kirkton Fair
Parade. There were many
winners from our school and
there are still many of their
exhibits on display at the
school.
The grade eight class left
for two nights at Camp Sylvan
today, Wednesday. Here's
hoping the sun shines and the
temperatures, don't drop too
low at night. Parents are in-
vited down Thursday,
September 23 at 8:45 p.m. to
visit and see around the
camp.
Many entries have already
been submitted to the Exeter
Fall Fair, but, all classes A to
Q plus other features are still
open. Please deliver your en-
tries to the South Huron Rec.
Centre before the judging,
Friday, September 24.. Good
luck.
Our Cross Country team
has not been chosen yet but
try -out dates have been set
and some students are out
practicing. Keep running and
we'll soon see our times drop
even lower. Parents are ask-
ed to contact the school if they
would be willing to help on Oc-
tober 7, the day of the meet.
We are still collecting Zehrs
tapes as a means of fund rais-
ing. Please bring or send your
tapes and drop them in our
computer in the school hall.
