Karen and Kathy Rohde, Exeter spent Sunday with their grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William Rohde and Mr. and Mrs. Caivin Rohde of Kip - pen visited Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Rowe entertained the ball team and their parents and family Fri- day evening to a barbecue supper. , There were 40 in atten- dance. Coaches Wayne Rowe and Mrs. Don (Edith) Lewis were presented with plaques. The weather man co-operated for a nice evening. The regular church service was held with Rev. Robert Matheson in charge. IRVIN.RADER Dashwood Seniors will hold the first meeting of the fall Monday, September 20. Reinhold Miller has return- ed home from South Huron Hospital, Exeter. Dave and Nancy Rader spent the holiday weekend with Jim and Diane Becker, Miller Lake. Stacey Rader was a house guest with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Scott; Derick and Stephanie spent the time with their aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Glavin, Crediton. A family turkey barbeque was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rader, Ben and Robin, London, Saturday. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Ir- vin Rader arid Mr. and Mrs. Dave Rader, Stacey, Derick and Stephanie and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Miller and Karen, Zion. Mrs. Gordon Bender has Jeturned home from St. oseph's Hospital, London. Dashwood Tykes won the D division in Western Ontario against Kincardine.. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Rader visited with Mr. and Mrs. Wellwood Gill, Craigweil Gardens and Mrs. Colleen Higgs, Ailsa Craig, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Stade have returned home following a month trip out west visiting friends and relatives. They motored out to Saskatchewan with a sister and brother-in- law, Eleanore and Clarence Miller and attended a niece's wedding at Windthorst, Sask. Then on to Alberta where they saw many places of interest including Banff, Jasper and Lake Louise. The Millers took them to Vancouver, B.C. They were on the ferry and saw the Butchart Gardens and Victoria. They returned on a flight from Vancouver. It was a most enjoyable trip thanks to Sherrie and her friend Joan who kept things going at home. Mr. and Mrs. George Tieman spent the weekend at Waterdown with Mr. and Mrs. Russel Hoperoft. eet Monday.. Rev. Barbara Laing has returned home following a week at Montreal at a Retreat and a week in.London getting Richard settled at Fanshawe College.
