vatory and Queen Elizabeth
Park, Rocky Point Park,
swimming, and two movies,
the musical "Annie", and the
E.T. monster.show, bowling,
shopping. and visits In Co-
quitlam with Perlis other

Mrs. Elmer Harlton was
the hostess for Unit 4 on Aug.

'presided. The theme for the
lesson' • thoughts was
"Endurance".
Mrs. Malcolm Spence was
the program convener and us-
ed the theme "Wisdom" giv-
ing a reading on "What is a
Student"? and relating a
story of the courage _of Lil-
Dickson of Formosa who was
described as the "Littlest
woman with the biggest
heart" Mrs. Spence conclud-
ed with a reading and prayer.
Items of business were
discussed and taken care of.
Following grace, Mrs.
Florence Bryan assisted the
hostess to serve a dessert
lunch.
Unit 1 met at the -home of
Mrs. Cliff MtRobert with
Mrs. Gordon McRobert
presiding and giving lesson
thoughts with the theme "Red
Tomatoes and Storm
Clouds".
Mrs. Robt. Hardie was
responsible for the program
and took her topic from the
new study book "Living bet-
ween Memory and Hope"
dealing with `Liberation".
There are still people in the
world today who need to be
liberated from slavery such as
ambition, money, greed
prestige, etc. said the speaker
and we must always keep in
mind that, what we have and

tinuation from the Sunday
before on the Covenant Rela-
tionship. God comes to us sud-
denly when we need him in all
walks of life, and this is the
convenant relationship. We
are receivers as well as doers
in this relationship. We know
who we are, and where we are
going to make our Christian
