August 13 with a program at
7:30 p.m. when the pupils will
display their crafts and pre-
sent a program to parents and
friends. Mrs. Charles Tieman

week at the family home in

Miller and Reinhold in South
Huron Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Roland Gib-
son and family, Denfield were
sunday visitors with Mrs.
Frieda Keller.
Mrs. Maggie Nadiger has
returned home from Univer-
sity Hospital.
John Becker is a patient in
University Hospital with a
blood clot on his lung.

Eagleson have returned to
their home in Little Current,.
Manitoulin Island after spen-
• ding two weeks with their
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.
Ralph Weber.
Little Julie Weber,
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bill
Weber who suffered head in-
juries in a freak accident with
dogs Thursday evening and
was taken to War Memorial
Hospital, London underwent
surgery Friday and returned
home Monday to recuperate.
Lloyd and Eileen Wilbert
have returned home from a
two week escorted tour which
took them as far as Van-
couver Island. They met their
daughter Cynthia and friends,
Sandra Schroeder and Elaine
Love at Kamloops B.C. who
are on a camping trip. They
saw many beautiful sights. It
was a wonderful trip.
Rev. and Mrs. M. Mellecke,
David and Paul attended the
25th ordination service of
Rev. Norman Heintz at Lin
coln Park, Michigan in which
Rev. Mellecke participated.
Mrs. Mellecke's parents Mr.
and Mrs. Herbert Heintz of
.Fulda, Minnesota returned
home with them for a visit.
Mrs. Jean Walper spent the

tournament was held on Sun-
day August 8 in spite of the
rainy weather.
Those present enjoyed the
facilities of Westcott's Exeter
Golf and Country Club, then
returned to the home of Reg
and Jean Hodgert, where a
smorgasbord was prepared.
Lillian Hodgert presented
the awards as follows: trophy
for low gross foursome to
Brian Hodgert's team com-
prising of Brian Hodgert, Ar-
nold Cann, Helen Hodgert,
Ross Hodgert; low man to
Eric Ellis and Doug Hodgert
(tie); low lady to Helen

Ellis and Jack Hodgert; hid-

ed Monday to hear of the sud-
den passing of Margaret
Pym. Sympathy is extended

late Louella Simpson , who
passed away Monday.
Miss Sylvia Stewart,
Calgary is holidaying with her
parents Mr. and Mrs. Floyd
Stewart and friends for two
weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Rohde,
Mitchell visited Sunday even-
ing with Mr. and Mrs.
William Rohde.
The last church service of
the summer was held on Sun-
day, August 1 at Elimville
with Rev. Robert Matheson in
charge. He told the children a
story "Jesus Shows His
Love." He had drawings on
three different sheets of
paper, the first a plate, knife,
fork and spoon, the second a
loaf of bread, and the third a
fish to represent the feeding
of the five thousand.
The next church service
will be September 5 at Elim-
ville at 10 a.m. and Thames
Road at 11:15 a.m.
