Sport groups to
get special offer.
By Lynne Farquhar
The South Huron Recrea-
tion Centre is mailing an offer
to local sports organizations
that we hope can't be refused.
All sports .groups who
patronize the Recreation Cen-
tre and who have already us-
ed the hall on a rental fee
basis on a Friday or Saturday
evening during the calendar
year, have the opportunity to
look a low-cost use of the hall
on one available Friday night
during the first six months of
the following calendar year.
This low-cost Friday usage
is subject to there not being a
prior rental commitment
and all groups will participate
' on. a first-come, first -serve
basis.
A rental fee charge of ;50
for the night will be levied to
cover our clean up costs.
Bookings for this "Friday
Night Special" cannot be
made prior to October 1 of the
current calendar year.
We hope by this proposal
that we are creating anoppor-
tunity for local sports groups
to hold another fund-raising
event during the year at a low
expense -to their respective
organizations.
For more information on
the "Friday Night Special"
call the South Huron Rec
Center at 235-2833.
