JUST LIKE OLD TIMES — Hensall's main street was crowded with people when the (Taylor's Discount Store)
town held its first-ever Moonlight Madness sale began planning the event. In-
itially the four -man commit-

Beauchamp (the Don of Don's

ask all Hensall enterprises to
contribute towards the cost of
a gas barbecue to be given
away in a free draw.
When Beauchamp began
canvassing, he discovered
that community spirit was
alive and well and living in
Hensall. He was deluged with
offers of additional prizes.

concerned, the night was a
complete success. He has
never seen the town so busy.
"Hensall's first attempt has
created a good atmosphere,"
Caers agreed. "Hensall's not
drying up. and turning to
dust ! "
Jack Drysdale, BIA presi-
dent, promises a repeat per-

than ever. After staging the
event for the first time, those
involved already see ways to
improve the next one,
perhaps with live entertain-
ment the second time around.
"The community response
was very good. It's so much
easier when everyone works
together. It will be much
easier to put on another,"
Smith concluded.
