IN MEMORIAM —
HOFFMAN — In loving memory
of a dear son, Dennis, who left us
suddenly due to an accident 4
years ago, July 13, 1978.
When family ties are broken
And loved ones have to part,
It leaves a wound that never heals
A very aching heart
And no one knows the grief we
share
When we all meet and you're not
there.
Life goes on, we know that's true
But not the same since we lost
you.
We cannot bring the old days back
When we were all together
But loving thoughts and
memories
Will live with us forever.
Lovingly remembered and sad-
ly missed by Mom and Dad (Leo
and Irene), sisters Barbara and
Deanne and brother Robert. 28'
HOWE — In loving memory of a

Artistic •
lent helps
for still life and floral
painting came later when
her husband, the later Bert
Peck, became sick and her
painting tours were
restricted to the garden.
More than a simple hobby,
Mrs. Peck has studied art at
night school and has been
featured in art shows in
London, Exeter as well as
the Clinton and Goderich
Libraries. One of her
paintings hangs in the
Hensall municipal office,
others decorate the walls at
the Huron County
Health Unit.
When she's not busy in the
Huronview craft room
mixing colors. Mrs. Peck is
busy taking a creative
writing course, or out on day
trips around the area with
other residents.
She's. been a resident at
Huronview for five years
now and said, "I think it's
great here. I made the
decision to come here on my
own and I feel it was the
right one."
Leading happy and
healthy life, Mrs. Peck only
has a few small complaints
she's so busy there's no time
for an afternoon nap. Waking
at 6:20 each morning, Mrs.
Peck starts another busy
day, and only wishes she
could be in bed by 9 p.m.
each night instead of 9:30
p.m.
A love for color, fine detail
and natural artistic talent
has kept 86 -year-old Grace
Peck healthy and happy for
many years.
A resident at Huronview
Home for the Aged, this
attractive lady has little
time to while away her
senior years. Mrs. Peck has
work to do, creating original
oil paintings for family and
friends and for the huge
walls and art gallery section
at Huronview.
"If I didn't paint I think I'd
dry up, Mrs. Peck
imagined as we talked in her
smajl room at Huronview.
The room and the nearby
corridor walls are covered
with paintings of all sizes,
showing her particular love
of landscapes and flowers.
"They cover up the bare
walls a bit," she matter-of-
factly explained.
Painting is a natural talent.
for Mrs. Peck. She
remembered as a small
child, spending hours
drawing with colored chalk.
Then, about 30 years ago,
she broke her hip, and while
confined to a wheelchair,
decided to try the oil paints
that she had never found
time to use before.
"It was my golden op-
portunity," she recalled. "I
looked out of our window and
painted the neighbor's place.

wife, mother and grandmother,
Olive Eloise Pytn, who passed
away four years ago, July 16,
1978. •
The golden sun may set, but the
hearts that loved her dearly, are
the ones that won't forget. We do
not need a special day, to bring
you to our minds, the days we do
not think of you, are very hard to
find. They say time heals all sor-
row, and helps us to forget, but
time has only proved to us, how
much we miss you yet. When we
are sad• and lonely, and
everything goes wrong. We seem
to hear you whisper, cheer up and
carry on. Times we see your
photo, seems to smile and say,
"Don't cry, I'm only sleeping,
we'll meet again someday."
Sadly missed and always
remembered by Mervin _ Pym,
Don, Eloise, Marrion, Jack,
Harold, Stanly and families.
