The second annual Heritage Quilt Show and Sale runs Ju- ly 3-11, with plenty of quilts to buy and see, and a Heritage Quilt Competition with cash prizes awarded the favourites. The Ravenswood Women's Institute will be sell- ing home -baked strawberry tarts in the tea-room. If you own an heirloom quilt, this is your chance to share it with the community, as a special "Antique Quilt" category will be competing for cash prizes. Sunday, July 25, the third annual Heritage Craft Sale hosts Lambton County Craft- smen for one of the busiest days of the year. Potters, weavers, spinners, glass makers, leatherworkers, and others deomnstrate their craft and offer their artwork for sale. This years event will be held outdoors if weather per- mits, so we look forward to a fine fancily outing, with something for everyone. Last year's event drew a crowd of 1,800. The $1.25 adult admission to museum events includes both special exhibits, plus the museum displays. Refreshments and light lun- ches are available. For more information contact the museum at 243-2600. , :ii'-'4.:; BEAUTY large crowd gathered on the Beach in Grand Bend to watch eurgerfest's an- nual beach beauty contest. AND THE BEACH A IN MEMORIAM— IULE — In loving memory of a dear wife, mother and grand- mother, Iva Idle, who passed away 3 years ago on June 27, 1979. A cluster of precious memories, Sprayed with a million tears, Wishing God had spared you, If only a few more years. You left a beautiful memory, And sorrow too great to be told, But to us who loved and lost you. Your memory will never grow old. No one heard the footsteps, 01 the angels drawing near, Who took from earth to Heaven, The one we loved so dear. But she really hasn't left us, Nor has she travelled far, Just entered God's beautiful garden, And left the gate ajar. Her empty space, no one can fill, We miss her now and always will, These thoughts are all so true, From those who thought the world of you. Sadly missed and fondly remembered by her husband Ar- thur; sons Donald, Claire, Lawrence, Merle and Paul; 5 grandchildren and her daughters-in-law. 25' MORLEY.— In loving memory of • a dear brother-in-law and uncle Arnold Morley who passed away June 22, 1980. Those who think that you are gone, Because no more your face they see, Are wrong - for in our hearts you live, And always will in memory. Lovingly remembered by Cecil and Amelia and nieces, Margaret, Shiela and Harry. 25c Dance Kirkton Woodham Community Centre Sat., June 26 Music by Rancheros Proceeds for hall maintenance Glanville 30th Reunion Sun., July 11 2 p.m. - 7 p.m.?
