The annual Secret Pal Sup-
per of the Kirkton Women's
Institute was held May 27 at
the Kirkton-Woodham Com-
munity Centre.
Everyone was welcomed by
the committee in charge
namely Mrs. Reg Morrison,
Mn. Jim Siddall, Mrs. Pearl
Stephens and Mrs. Vic
Janssen. All enjoyed a very
delicious smorgasborg meal
served byt the Kirkton Koun-
try Katerers.. Each person
received a favour of a floral
corsage.
Lucky cup winners were
Mrs. Mervin Shute, Mrs. Al
Eveleigh, Mrs. Carman Park,
Mrs. Stuart Shier and Mrs.
Pearl Budden.
New president, Mrs. Al
Eveleigh presented Mrs.
Bessie Greenstreet with a 25
year plaque. Miss Ethel
Copeland was presented with
an Institute Pin for Perfect
Attendance.
Mrs. Dave Shamblau gave
a reading Spring Cleaning.
Relays and contests were en-
joyed -after which Mrs. Reg
Morrison and Mrs. Jim Sid -
dell did a skit The Ford Plant.
Secret Pal gifts were then
exchanged.
Mrs. Ross Francis gave a
very interesting report of the
Officers Conference which
she attended at Waterloo.
Mrs. Francis' purchased a
book entitled Ontario

for their mother's 73rd

evening for Cliff's brother,
Everett Russell who was
married Saturday to Amy
Kuczewski.
On the return trip home the
families stopped off in Cottam
and visited Tom and Rosanne
Jackie and Jenny Russell.
Sunday supper guests with
Ken, Ortha and Garry Baker,
were Ken Jr. and Carol,
Sheltie and Tracey Baker, of
Stratford, Don, Sharon and
Jamie Baker, Shipka.

Patrick's Church sponsored a
bake and garage sale at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom
Kooy, Centralia, Saturday.
Donations were gratefully
