The committee presented a list of 11 areas where new sidewalks were required, but only six were accepted in keeping with the ;10,000 set aside by council for sidewalk construction. In fact, one of those may have to be deleted if the sales tax now being collected by the province under their recent budget pushes the price higher than estimated. The areas designated, in order of priority, are as follows: 784' on the east side of Albert from John, 460' on the south side of Sanders from west of William, 534' on the south side of Thomas from William to Carling, 360' of pat- ches on the south side of Gidley, 553' on the north side of John from William to Carl- ing and 308' on the north side of Anne from William to Carling. The total cost of those six areas is expected to be;9,825 and will be done in the order of priority until the ;10,000 budget is depleted. In other business, council accepted the recommenda- tion that priorities for 1983 in- clude a storm drain in the south-west section of town, reconstruction of Pryde Blvd. and a culvert on Marlborough St. It was also agreed by coun- cil to take corrective measures this year on the right-of-way leading into Riverview Park between the Veri and Livingstone proper- ties THAMES ROAD UNITED CHURCH SUNDAY SCHOOL invites you to attend their Adversary June 13 11:00 a.m. at THAMES ROAD UNITED CHURCH Rev Burton Crowe Guest Speaker Special Music By: Grace and Margaret Pym and Thames Road Sunday School Children Organist: Agnes dray Pianist: Janet Hulls.
