Mrs. Hilda Rader and Irvin Rader presented a skit "Mistaken identity". A sing song led by Mrs. Ross Love. Mit. Ken McCrae Helen Nadiger and Mrs. Florence Martene was enjoyed by all. Mrs. Mervyn Tieman read poems "The Good Old Days" and "Figures Don't Lie." Adding a pleasing note to the program were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sheppard. Parkhill. Harry performed with his dancing men with Mrs. Shep- pard at the piano. 'The pro- gram closed with all singing Amazing Grace and When the Roll is Called Up Yonder ac- companied by the band. Prizes were given ; as follows: door prize. Alwinna Galloway, Crediton; mystery prize, Mrs. Mabel Shirray, Q'@dilon East By MRS. Mark anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Stade celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary, May 14 with a dinner and dance. Around 50 attended the dinner at the. community centre. People came from British Columbia. Alberta. Saskatchewan, Bar- rie and Dashwood. The Blue Water Playboys played for the dance. Open house was held Satur- day and Sunday with 70 sign- ing the guest book. Sunday. 26 people sat down to dinner with Melvin, Gertie and Sherrie. Those attending from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Siegfried Miller and family, Port Dover; Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Clark, Dresden; and all of Gertie's seven sisters and brother -in-laws. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Stumpf, Kitchener, and Mrs. Nora Koessel, Detroit, Michigan were sup- per guests. A wonderful time of fellowship was had. A small gathering of close friends and family attended a dinner at Dashwood Com- munity Centre Sunday, May 23 in honor of Beulah Deajer- dine's 80th birthday. Milford (Lorne) Pfile, brother of Herb Pfile, Grand Bend and Clayton Pfile, Dashwood, formerly of Dashwood passed away at Tampa, Florida in his 81st year, May 24.
