Pumper cost
stirs comment
Grand Bend Reeve Bob
Sharen received good-natured
support from neighbouring
reeves at the fire hall meeting
Thursday night when he read
a letter from the Village of
Thedford billing Grand Bend
for the use of a pumper truck
in fires in Bosanquet and the
village.
The letter stated that,
under the Bosanquet
equipment -sharing plan.
-since Grand Bend did not
have a pumper, it could not
recriprocate, therefore, must
pay the cost.
"Hogwash!", stated Bosan-
quet Reeve Charlie Srokosz•.
"There are three around."
said Stephen. Reeve Doug
Russell. Tell them if they
need one, we'll have one and
they can stick that in their
ear."
