thought out? Was it hard to
- let go of some of symbols of
years ago? We are in a brand
new age what are we called
to do in 19112?
As Christians .we worship
Christ, we seek to do God's
will faithfully and • scollec-
tively. How do we say "Faith.
and Justice" in a new way of
world to -day? What may be
for me may not • be for
someone else. Justice
requires love. Jesus was
always concerned about the
;e inner man.
If Jesus asked you, what
can I do that they may see
Jesus love through the way
we live and share with
others. The Spirit of love
through Jesus Christ helps
-us to have fellowship with
our fellow man. We cannot
do these things inside a
ntu tch building. We must
reach out in love. -
Carol Langford wife of Don
Langford told of some of
their work the three years -
they spent in Nigeria.Seeds
for Zaire are still need as
well as -"Corn for Horn"
which Is distributed in
Somalia, and Ethiopia.
People ask where is it going
and how is it used? It is
loaded on trucks and sent to
refugee camps ,for
distribution, cooked over an
open fire, used as porrili'ge,
or made into bread similar,to
our sour bread dough recipe.
Shopping bags are made out
of white corn. They sell for 25
cents.
The Mennonites operate a
food - bank which is non-
denominational that helps
very much m distribution.
One load of corn became
soaked by freak rain storm,
a black mould (ormed on
some of the bags. Manen
were hired to throw it t the
air to dry, then pick out
Mouldy corn. Some Bags
were too hot to handle. `'
Rev. Craig Railton

dialogue on Stewardship
with Margaret Walsh stating
our life is to . be lived in a
special kind of way caring
for others. We have beautiful
stained glass windows and
organs in our churches.

'life style and concern. Let us
learn to share together as a
Christian sacrifice, truly
alive to God. We should
present our gifts to God
holding nothing back. If truly
alive as Christians we must
be concerned about Justice
and Stewardship. Is our faith
important and where do we
set our priorities?
In Haiti people live on $250
per year. 51 years is the life
limit, 50 percent have no job,
no money. God has called us
to be a living sacrifice to
share our time, money and
personal faith.
A banquet was served at
5:30 p.m. at which Rt. Rev.
Lois Wilson moderator of
United Church of Canada
and Rev. Don Mannell,
president of London Con-
ference were present.
Inspirational messages in
song were sung by ,'Tune
Tellers" of Tillsonburg area.
Following this the Rt. Rev:
Lois • Wilson spoke on
"Justice in the World. " She
related of her travels to
Orient, Central, and South
America.
Her message stated we
live today in an age where
we as a church are
struggling to understand
ourselves. We find out the
church does not turn on an
axis of money or per-'
sonnet alone. There is a
growing awareness that we
have needs of gospel in-
sights.
What is Charity or
Justice? Do we have to be
ashamed to speak out,in our
country for Justice? Do we
know what's going on in the
world? How are we in North
America protected? Do we
suffer 'pain and agony of
having our sons and
daughters dissappear whose
bodies dead or alive are
•carted away to unknown
burial grounds? How do we
as Christian people respond
to things such as these?
B.J. Klassen led second
study group on Wednesday
asking "Do we want to turn
around and face the world or
tatilleep looking back. What
shoal our UCW be in` .20
years from now? We don't
say no to the past. They gave
it to us so we can live in
future. We live between

Children of single parents,

We need to look at ourselves.
It is easier to look afar. We
need to look at home and at

Jesus Christ in our hearts.
Christians are called to be

those around us.
