workers checking children at
school for early signs of the
disease, and schools for
children who were outcasts
from their awn local schools
because someone in their
family had leprosy.
He said there are more
than one hundred cares of
leprosy in Canada, mostly in
the big cities. Each Sunday
School class saves money in
a Pete Bank and used
stamps are also collected for
the Leprosy Mission.

so that the municipality can
then make application for it.
The baerd decided to refer
the request to its property
committee for study, report
and recommendation to the
board.
The board approved the
hiring of Tracy E. Devlin of
Stratford u a teacher with
the system but no decision
has been made yet at which
school she will be teaching in
September.
