Rec Centre staff are looking
for any youth interested in
playing minor ball hockey or
minor lacrosse this summer.
Ball hockey is played on the
arena floor and is quite
similar to street hockey. The
only equipment needs are
running shoes and a regular
hockey stick. Lacrosse is also
played on the floor surface
and hockey equipment can be
used.
If interested in playing ball
hockey or lacrosse, you can
register Saturday April 10
from 9a.m.-12 or call the Rec
Centre at 235-2833 and let us
know. Registration for each
sport will be $12 per person.
I would like to thank all the
volunteers who gave us a
hand -with our March Break
Holiday Happening program.
Around 150 youngsters par-
ticipated in the program and
we really ,a,,,..a .
