Muegge has worked for the ministry for five years, arriving in Huron just over a yae oticagoebeand hincreue nquilting's popularity. She said the turnout this year was 700. Such courses are organized for individual interest and gain and to promote involvement, she said. Quilting Unlimited really began hast October, when women from all over Huron in nn Huron C attended a two-day works , then returned to their communities to teach their own groups. The course stressed small items. "The word 'quilt' can scare a beginner," Mrs. Muegge said. Quilted vests, baby stroller seat covers, card table covers, even slippers and toilet seat covers, were prominently . displayed beside the traditional bed coverings. More than 1,300 people came to Exeter, Wingham and Clinton. to see the displays of quilting from their area.
