Figure skating carnival attracts crowd of 1,200
The 99th annual Exeter
figure skating club carnival
held 'Saturday at the South
Huron Rec Centre was a
huge success.

our carnival conveners who
organized parents, volun-
teers, coaches and skaters to
put it all together."
The carnival was based on
a Hollywood theme and
included Snow White and the
Seven Dwarfs, the Little
Rascals, Mary Poppins, the
Wizard of Oz, Star Wars and
the Muppets to name a few.
The featured guest skater
was Scott Grover of the
Preston figure skating club
who won the 1982 Central
Division novice men's
championship.
Skating duets were Tim
Bullock and Beth Emery and
Devin Horton and Lisa
Faber while single numbers
were pcovlaed by Liz Cot-
trell, Susan Cook, Monique
Aunger and Sue Anne
Adkins.
