decided to accept the job of
catering to a wedding in

Gwen Lynn reported on
the excellent quality of the
bale and white gifts sent to
Angola. (the church in the
bush).
They were able to get It
packed and away before the
postage rates increased. The •
U.C.W. were able to in-
crease their allocation
because of a successful
financial year in 1981.
As I write the Clandeboye
news this Tuesday morning,
the weather has improved
100 percent compared to
Sunday and Monday. Traffic
is moving again • on the
higinvay and most country
roads. People are digging
oat of their yards and things
are gradually returning to
normal.

Harvey Beierling high, and
Mrs. Florence Keller low.

area friends were in Wiarton
for a weekend of snow-
mobiling. Needless to say,
the weather there was much
the 'same as in our area and
roadconditionsdid not permit
them to return until Tues-
day.

week course in au

animal pedigree study.
Dick and Edte
Worthington had several un-
expected house guests dur-
ipg the storm. The highway
was blocked in front of their
home.
Mary and Wilmer Scott
were in Windsor for most of
last week. where their
horses are racing. Weather
conditions prevented them
from returning home until
early this week.

story of- the Toronto
millionaire trying to relieve
poverty in Haiti by turning a
hidden valley into a Garden
of Eden.
