Stones or Stumbling
Blocks" saying that we
>;houkj be honest, genuine,
with love toward our fellow
men, be acceptant and not
critical and learn from
fellow Christians. Different
religious customs were

CO IT news
The members of Granton
CGIT met at the church on
January 8. Chris Jones
opened the meeting with a
New. Years prayer. Plans for
a gospel musical night in
March were discussed.
This will be open to anyone
(adults, children or families)
in our community who would
like to take part. Please
contact any CGIT member if
you wish to participate. The
program will take place at
Granton United Church.
Mrs. Harloffs lesson was
entitled "Let's play
Kickarockoo". This is a
game played with a soccer
ball and where there are no
rules. Everyone makes up
her own as the game
progresses. It was found that
the game starts out as fun,
but in a short time It
develops into a mess with a •
lot of arguments:
Mrs. Harloff then com-
pared. the game of
Kickarockoo to the game of
life. People sometimes
complain about the rules
God has set up for us but if
we play by His rules the
game will be much better
and there won't be nearly as
much fighting and bad
feThterm "tlie CGIT will be
studying Proverbs to learn
the virtues that are insisted
upon throughout the Bible,
and base their lives on how
God wants them to live.
Mrs. McRobert then
taught the girls how to make
stuffed dolls from baby
socks. These were really a
cute toy and the girls were
all pleased with the, results.
