The C.G.I.T. girls assisted with the service along with Lorne Thrower. The January meeting of the United Church Women will be held on Monday, January 4 at 8 p.m. The Installation of Officers will take place at this meeting. Sunday's regular service at Thames Road proved that, "There's No Place Like Home - For the Holidays," by the number of families who attended worship. Lorne Thrower conducted the service and told the children a story about 'Shepherd's Crooks.' He told how the shepherd makes his crook, and what some of the uses of same were. The choir accentuated the service with its lovely rendition of Infant Holy Infant Lowly as their anthem. The message was entitled The Melody Lingers On. and dwelt with the aspect that the true Christmas spirit was, and is, an ongoing experience which is not limited to one season, or day . The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper and the rite of baptism will be ad- ministered on Sunday, January 10 at 11:15 a.m. Christmas Day guests out of community.
