At the service in the United
Church, Sunday morning
Rev. Crowe delivered the
first of a two part sermon on
the subject "' Did God Have
To Do It" and his text was
"The World of God became
flesh (a human being) and
lived among us."
God reveals Himself in
other ways, - through Nature
and the starry heavens
above, but the perfect
revelation of God's love
comes through Jesus Christ.
The children were told a
story. Stephen Tasko was the
lay reader. The anthem "It
was for us" was sung by the
choir. There was organ and
piano music by Mr. Gilland
Penny Smith. The brilliantly
lighted tree and other
decorations made an at-
tractive setting for the
service.
Sunday evening the
Sunday School presented
their annual Christmas
entertainment in the
schoolroom of the church
with the various'''
classesunder the direction of
their teachers taking part.
