MIDDLESEX COUNTY OFFICIAL PLANE
The Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing has recently defined =_
the Middlesex County Planning Area as a planning area comprising
= all municipalities in the County. As the designated Municipality, the
Corporation of the County of Middlesex is presently carrying out a

planning program which will lead to a County Official Plan.
Althoughthe County Official Plan is not intended to be a land use
document, it will address various issues affecting development. As
proposed, the Official Plan will address development along county
roads, the placement of transportation/servicingcorridors(i.e. Ontario
Hydro) in the planning area and planning issues in the urban fringe.
All residents of Middlesex County are invited to learn more about
The County Official Plan, and are encouraged to express your
opinions and concerns regarding the various planning issues at any of
the following Public Meeting.
