The game itself was a bad dream as South Huron lost 1-0 in an overtime shootout after going through the regular season un- defeated. In regular time, and again in the 10 minute sudden - death overtime period, the Panthers dominated play but couldn't score. According to Workman, ninety percent of the play was in St. Marys end of the field. St. Marys won the game cn a high flick shot in the five shot shootout. In their second regular season tournament, Tuesday, South Huron won all three of their games. Marilyn Brand scored on a penalty corner in the last minute to give the Panthers a narrow 2-1 win over Stratford Central in a scrappy game. Brand scored the other South Huron marker. Pauline Brand, who has, become a competent goal scorer, had two goals and Cheryl Cann added an in- surance marker as South Huron downed St. Marys 3-0. Pauline Brand and Marilyn Brand each had a goal as the Panthers easily handled Listowel, 2-0. The team's second place finish qualified them for the six -team round-robin WOSSA tournament.
