Kinettes say thanks for craft show participation
The Exeter Kinettes wish
to thank all the community
and surrounding areas, that
came out and supported our
craft show.
This is the beat craft show
turn out we've had. All the

The first meeting of the
season for senior citizens
was held in the Community
Centre Monday afternoon,
Crokinole and cards wre
enjoyed followed by lunch.
Mr. and Mrs. Mike Cronyn
and Jennifer have moved
from Huron Park to take up
residence in the home they
purchased from Mr. Carl
Isaac. We welcome them to
the village.
Mrs. Minnie Harrison was
admitted to St. Joseph's
Hospital. London Sunday in
preparation for surgery. She
has the best wishes of many
friends for a quick recovery.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bowden
attended the anniversary

at the home of Mrs.

Euchre Party
There were seven tables in
play at the first Euchre
party in the Community
Centre Monday night with
Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence
Hirtzel and Mrs. Frank
Hicks in charge.
Ladies high - Mrs. Gordon
Atkinson; Ladies lone hands
- Mrs. Roy Swartz, Ladies
low - Mrs. Otto Darling.
Men's high - Murray Carter;
Men's lone hands - Tom
Kooy, Men's low - Bill
Lamport. The skunks went to
Mrs. Roy Swartz and George
Dixon.
The next party will be in
two week's time.

Fantastic! Also it shows the
crafters their time and ef-
fects are greatly ap-
preciated.
The displays were mostly
decorated on the theme of
Christmas. I will mention
just a few of these beautiful
Items, Christmas centre
pieces and decorations,
aprons, dried flower
arrangements, pottery,
wicker, quilts, home made
garments, dough
decorations, sweaters, mitts,
afghans, jewellery,
ceramics and many, many
more fabulous items.
The crocheted table cloth,
which was our raffle prize,
was won by Don Harvey,
Exeter. It certainly is a nice
gift for his wife.
Kinettes are starting to
take bookings for the 1882
craft show and sale already.
It will be held the first week
in November at the Exeter
Legion hall. The Kinette to
