At the request of the
ministry of the enviroment,
the pumping and storage
capacity to be undertaken
with the expansion of the
sewer lagoons in Exeter has
been increased.
Engineer B.M. Ross &
Associates have increased
the design volume of the
lagoon by 2.1 percent and the
pumping capacity by 25
percent in a report sub-
mitted to the drains com-
mittee.
Monday night, Councillor
Bill Mickle said he felt the
report was not complete In
that the engineers had not
estimated the additional cost
involved.
Later in the meeting, he
moved to have the engineer
provide an estimate and this
was approved by council.
